Princess Amelia

Today's royal wedding of Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton has been a hot topic.  It's been plastered all over the television, radio, and internet.  I read some about it online, but it's hard to get too excited about people I don't know.  My favorite pictures were the ones of all of the hats that guests wore to the wedding.  Some of them defied gravity.  Those women must have worn dozens of bobby pins to keep those hats from falling off their heads.  What do I know?  I'm just a simple girl who grew up on a farm.  It's interesting, though, to take a glimpse into the life of the royal family.

Mia and I were playing around in the front yard earlier.  I was trying to take her picture with her tiara as a shout out to today's events in London.  However, she thought it was much more entertaining to put the tiara on my head and take my picture.  She took pictures of the grass, her finger in front of the lens, etc.  One picture she took though was really good.  She took it completely by herself, so I was really surprised.
Finally got her picture when she sat down with a cupcakeIt's not a 1936 Cartier tiara like Kate wore, but my little Mia makes quite the pretty princess.
This is the picture that Mia took of me all by herself.  She said, "Say cheese, Mommy!"  You can't really see it, but she had put her tiara on my head.
