Bluebonnets

Taking a drive to see the bluebonnets in full bloom is a very Texan thing to do.  We have never done it until this year.  Does that mean we're becoming more Texan?  Hmmm, well Mia is a native born Texan, so I guess that's okay.  We chose the trail we wanted to drive to see the bluebonnets and took off.  We found a great spot with thousands of bluebonnets, so we stopped for some pictures.  By the time we were done with pictures, Mia was ready for a nap.  She slept all of the way to the grocery store (which took about 45 minutes since we were down in Ennis).  She was still pretty tired, though.  At bedtime tonight, she didn't put up a fuss at all.  She said, "Daddy, come on! I'm ready for bed!"  What a great day!  I hope we can make a trip down there to see the bluebonnets every year.

Can you hear what she's thinking? "Daddy please take away Mommy's camera.  I'm tired of posing."
