Mia turned six months old yesterday. I can't believe how much she has changed this first six months. My little newborn mewing like a kitten has become my energetic six month old who never fails to make herself heard. There are so many things she can do now. She plays with her toys, bounces in the exersaucer, holds her own bottle, sits up on her own, and she even watches tv sometimes...It seems like every week she does something new or makes a discovery about her world that delights her to no end. She's such a happy baby. She fits in so perfectly with our family that it's hard to imagine our life without her. This little, slobbery, babbling, squealy kid is the best thing that ever happened to us. I'm going to make sure that she knows it. Unlimited kisses, hugs, and cuddling for Mia. She's so lovable that I couldn't help myself if I tried.
Tomorrow we go for her six month checkup with Dr. Curry. I'm glad because (as usual) I have some questions for him, but the shots are never fun for either one of us. Then, we have six month pictures on Saturday. I'm a little uneasy since her appointment time is for ten minutes. As you may remember, it took us two tries last time to get the pictures done. I'm going to try to work around nap time and bottles to make sure that she is happy. Think good thoughts for us!

Exploring the exersaucer Sometimes it's still a little difficult to hold the bottle when it's full.My little monkey girl solved this problem by holding it with her feet until she drinks enough to just hold it with her hands.Sitting up is no problem, but how do I get that block in my mouth?Watching Kung Fu Panda

I can't believe she is already 6 months! She is always dressed so cute... but my favorite is that pink & brown outfit she has on when she is sitting up looking at that block. Too cute!!
