Every year Wes wants to go to the Asian Festival here in Dallas, but our schedules never allowed for it until this year. It was in the Arts District, with a stage set up in Klyde Warren Park that featured Asian dancers from many different countries throughout the day. We got some amazing lunch from the food trucks, and then spent the majority of our time watching the dancers. My favorite was a woman holding a glass of water in each hand as well as balancing a glass of water on her head. She was really fun to watch and didn't spill a drop. Mia liked the hula dancers, and Quinn liked the Chinese lion dance. As per his rambunctious nature, Quinn ran full throttle into a metal chair and got a cut on his eyebrow. Maybe I should make him wear a bike helmet when he goes out in public. He has a bad habit of looking behind him while he's walking (or in this case running) forward.
