Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Wes and I took Mia and Quinn up to the Runestone for the kids' Easter egg hunt that the town does each year.  They didn't do an egg hunt up there when I was a kid, so I wondered how they would do it.  It turns out that they don't hide the eggs.  They just scatter a ton of them all over the ground, and the kids scramble to grab as many as possible.  Mom brought Zoey up there, too.  Mia and Zoey were a little taken aback when the kids charged forward and began scooping up the eggs.  The girls are used to more leisurely egg hunting. ;)   They got a few, though, so they were satisfied.  Quinn picked up some eggs in the baby area.  He was one of the smaller kids, so he mostly people-watched.  We stuck around afterward and took a few pictures.
