Our Little Pumpkin

Today, Wesley and I took Mia to the Dallas Arboretum.  The arboretum is just massive amounts of flowers in tons of gardens.  They also sponsor different events and activities throughout the year.  We had never been there before.  We heard about the Pumpkin Village that was on display there.  It was a group of four small buildings that were entirely covered in pumpkins.  There were also thousands (seriously, thousands) of pumpkins and gourds scattered on the ground at the pumpkin village and all around the arboretum.  While Wesley was trying to get a picture of Mia holding a pumpkin, I spotted his friend, Jon, and Jon's daughter, Harper.  We were excited that Holly (Jon's wife) and their little boy, Jasper, were there as well.  Think of how many thousands of people live in Dallas, and we just happen to run into some of our great friends!  It took Mia and Harper a few minutes to recognize each other, but then they just ran around and had a good ol' time.  I didn't realize that the arboretum is located on the shores of White Rock Lake, and some of the views were really pretty.  We definitely plan to go back!  FYI: There are LOTS of pictures on this post!!

Harper and Mia

Daddy had to peak his head around to see out of the "gourd window" too!

There are too many fun pictures to choose from, so I think I'll split this into two posts.
