I got out Mia's bowling set, but she doesn't get the concept of it yet. She kept throwing the ball wildly in all directions and giggling hysterically as I scrambled to catch it before it went under the furniture. She finally knocked a few down after several repeated attempts. Her best score came when she accidentally knocked eight or nine of them down with her foot and kept saying, "Uh oh! Uh oh!" I told her that it was okay, and that's what we wanted to do. She didn't seem to like that and wanted to pick them all back up to put them in order again.
Next, we got out the bubble gun that Nana got for Mia. I finally found some batteries, so we tried it out. Mia loved it! She kept yelling, "BUBBAS! BUBBAS!" (bubbles). She would laugh and swipe at the air trying to catch them. This went on for quite awhile until she decided that she wanted to operate the bubble gun herself. I showed her how, and you would've thought it was the most hilarious thing ever! Thanks Nana, the bubble gun was a hit!
When seeing the corresponding picture to the next activity, you may ask, "Why did you allow your child to color on the custom-designed armchair?" That was because Crayola loves all moms. I know this because they invented the awesome Color Wonder markers and coloring books. I love that the markers only mark on the Color Wonder paper and not on anything else. Crayola has a special place in my heart.
We had to repeatedly string together a bunch of pop links and then take them all apart. We did this over, and over, and over...!
Just chillin'
Bubbles!
