The Dallas Arts District kicked off Spring Break with a block party. Several streets were shut down, and a ton of food trucks were brought in. The Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher, and Crow Museum all opened up their doors for free to the public which was really neat. Quinn is still little enough to give me several mini heart attacks in an art museum, so our visits to the indoor Nasher exhibits and the Crow Museum were brief. We did enjoy spending time outside in the Nasher sculpture garden, though. The weather was beautiful! The kids liked looking at the sculptures, although Mia was a little perplexed by some of them. Mia and Quinn also got to play in Klyde Warren Park, so the day got two, well, I guess four thumbs up! Afterwards, we went for haircuts and then ice cream. Such a great family day!
Happy New Year!
