Wes had to work today, but I wanted to take the kids to the Dallas Christmas parade downtown. Note to self: Even if you re-read this post next year and think I'm exaggerating, remember that you must leave more than an hour early for the parade. Do not worry "future self" because you will not arrive too early. You will sit in traffic forever and count your lucky stars to find a parking place. We'll see if I heed my own advice. One thing about arriving right when the parade started was that we had to stand behind a lot of people, so the kids couldn't see half of the time. I had to take turns picking up one and then the other. I tried a couple of times to pick both of them up at once, but it just didn't work. By the end of the parade, my arms had given out. I actually couldn't pick Mia up anymore. Despite all of this, they enjoyed the parade. Quinn was super psyched that he got to see Spiderman. My pictures aren't great because I took them all one-handed while holding a child on my hip with the other arm. Still, we had a good time.
I've been married to my wonderful husband, Wesley, for eight years. Our beautiful daughter, Mia, is five years old. I love taking pictures of my little girl and telling stories about her cute antics! Quinn is our almost two-year-old bundle of sunshine! He always makes us laugh and is good about giving his momma a cheesy grin for the camera!
